Below are some questions that we get asked from time to time.
We operate on the principle that timely and straightforward communication solves most problems. If you have a problem, request, or would like to know more, please get in touch. This site is run by humans and we will do our best to help you.
Q: How do I collect my order
A: Go to the location that you requested at checkout, during its opening hours, and one of our team will be there to meet you.
Q: I’m out of Chilli infused eye balm, do you do urgent deliveries?
A: Not yet, we are just getting started. You can always visit your local independent retailer, they may stock it. Keep an eye on our website as this is something that we would like to do in the future.
Q: I’ve just decided to go to the pub with my friends, and my order is being delivered tonight, what should I do?
A: Let us know as soon as possible, we will try to refund the non perishable portions of your order. Unfortunately we cannot refund perishable items. At your risk we may also be able to leave your items at a safe place at our marketplace.
Alternatively you, could tell your friends that you have are going to one of our local online marketplaces, and invite them over to meet our team, many of our locations also have a bar.
Q: I was in the bath listening to the shipping forecast when you tried to deliver, and couldn’t get to the phone, what happens now?
A: It is surprising how many times our deliveries are interrupted by a polar maritime flow over the Faeroes. However, we will have returned your product to our marketplace, you could try to get there before closing time. We can refund the non perishable items, or leave them in a safe place at your risk.
Q: Do you deliver on Sundays?
A: Not at the moment. We believe that all of our staff deserve a predictable day off. This allows them to plan months in advance and spend time with their friends and family.
Q:Do you do substitutions ?
A: No. Normally, our stock management system will prevent the ordering of products that are not in stock. However, if you order a product that is unavailable, we will contact you and seek your instructions.
Q: I can’t find any garlic scented breath mints nearby, can you help?
A: Unfortunately not. Whilst these mints are hugely popular, if a local business doesn’t stock them, you won’t be able to buy them. Please let us know if you cannot find something, we would like to understand where demand lies.
Q: We appreciate the answers to your questions, but in mathematics, what is the square root of 89?
A: It is 9.433981132, and yes, we did use a calculator for that.
